Privacy Policy

METAPOLIS is a residential property developer based in Limassol, Cyprus. This policy explains what personal data we collect through meta-polis.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and which rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018.

Who is responsible for your data?

What data do we collect?

  • Contact details you submit in our forms: name, email address, phone number and your message.
  • Enquiry context: the project you asked about (for example a residence in Limassol, Paphos, Larnaca or Nicosia), the unit type, budget range and preferred contact channel.
  • Technical data: anonymised page views, device type, referring source and approximate region, used only to measure how many visitors reach our project pages.

Why do we use it?

  • To answer your enquiry and send the price list, floor plans and brochures you requested.
  • To prepare a reservation or purchase, where required by Cyprus law, including anti-money-laundering checks for transactions above 10,000 EUR.
  • To improve the website: which projects, unit sizes in m² and price ranges visitors look for most.

How long do we keep it?

Enquiry data is kept for 24 months from your last contact with us. Documents connected to a signed reservation or sale contract are kept for 6 years, as Cyprus tax and anti-money-laundering rules require. Analytics data is aggregated and retained for 14 months.

Do we share data with anyone?

We never sell your data. It is shared only with service providers that help us operate: our CRM and email systems, our website hosting provider, and — where a purchase proceeds — the lawyers, banks and the Cyprus Department of Lands and Surveys involved in the transaction. All providers act under a data-processing agreement, and data stays within the EU or in countries covered by an adequacy decision.

What are your rights?

  • Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate details or ask us to complete them.
  • Erase your data where no legal retention duty applies.
  • Object to marketing messages at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus.

Security

The website runs over HTTPS, form submissions are encrypted in transit, and access to the enquiry database is limited to authorised METAPOLIS staff using individual accounts with two-factor authentication.
